US Agriculture Regulation Compliance
While biochar's chemical and physical properties have a wide array of documented uses, agriculture stands as one of the most popular applications (most often to improve soil health, remediate contaminated soil, improve soil water and nutrient retention, and as a composting accelerator).
To be able to serve customers in the agriculture industry, Oregon Biochar Solutions is registering Rogue Biochar™in each of the lower 48 states which require state regulatory approval -- we hope to obtain approval in each of these jurisdictions by the end of 2017.
As of August 31, 2017, Rogue Biochar™ is approved for agricultural use in the following states:
- District of Columbia
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
- New York
- South Carolina
For purchasers from other states, please note that Oregon Biochar Solutions is not permitted to fulfill orders if the customer states an intention to use it for end-user agricultural purposes. However, note that most states offer an exemption if Rogue Biochar™ is going to be used as an ingredient in an otherwise registered agricultural product.
We are permitted to sell our products nationwide for non-agricultural uses.
